Because times are tough...
Do You Want To Be Happy?
What are you waiting for?
Most people are waiting for something -- something "special"
that will make their life great, so they can be happy.
Ask yourself: have others had this, and are they all happy? No, they're not, and it won't give you lasting happiness, either.
Happiness is not determined by external circumstances, but by internal circumstances.
Everyone chooses how happy they are by what they choose to think about.
Your attitude is determined by your perspective, which is determined by what you think about -- your focus. You choose your focus, so ultimately, you are the one who chooses whether to be happy, or not.
Perspective is what the Beatitudes (Matthew 5) are about.
Seeing a bigger picture than just this one small moment of time. (The Beatitudes are where Jesus explained how some are blessed, or happy -- even in difficult situations.)
(The word we translate as "happy" in the New Testament is usually translated as "blessed.")
You won't get happiness by chasing what the world has to offer.
It has already been tried and found wanting.
And, you will never be happy as long as you are self-centered.
A focus on self is guaranteed to prevent happiness.
Right after Jesus performed the menial task of washing his disciple's feet -- akin to cleaning toilets today -- He told them:
JOHN 13:15,17 ICB
15 I did this as an example for you. So you should do as I have done for you.
17 If you know these things, you will be happy if you do them.
You will be happy if you help others. If you take your focus off yourself. That's what Jesus taught.
SAY THIS: I choose to focus on God and be thankful and happy.

It shouldn't hurt that much..
But it does.
It's okay...I have better people now.
It's just -- even if it was anyone else-- I HATE when people simply GIVE UP on a friendship that was soo frkin close.
And I'm here trying to keep it alive because it's a waste to lose a friendship
...But I get nothing in return.
What happened to us?
If someone knows I wish they would just tell me so that I find out the truth
I don't care if it hurts.
Hopefully no one goes asking him though
Cos I brought it up to people today.
UUUUUUGHHH.
But I felt good cos Tyler patted my head while I was halfventing
LOL!
James is gonna beat him up..New York style [haunting him in his sleep]
HAHAHHAHA<3
In history today James was like doing his random outbursts and Joseph was like, "STOP TAALKING TO YOURSELF!!!"
"I'M TALKING TO YOUU GUYS!"
AHAHHAHAH OMG.
And walking to history I told Tyler how he was in my dream. HAHAH his facial reaction! When I said that he returned my phone he was like, "aaaw, that's lies. I would've kept it."
Riding home, Kay Ann told me how he was the first one out during the mentor games. HA HA HA
LMAO, JAAMES got him out!
And Tyler is like a bajillion times taller! wtheck
hahhahahahhahaaha
And when I tried telling Alex about my problems he just spat water like a fountain.
Wooow hahahahhha
Kay Ann told him that I was mad at him. LOL. THAT'S whyyy he said nevermind.
"I just wanted to get inside your head"
lol, wow Kay Ann.
And Chris Campbell tried asking me to buy him lunch and the lunch lady laughed at me. LOL. And duude he's a pro hockey kid!
Well I love those boys.
And I have good friends too[:
I guess some were just meant to end
And aren't worth fighting for.
But I hate thinking that way.
But sometimes you can try and try but get no result..especially if there is misunderstood anger involved.
Ughhh .. I'll still try. I trust God and won't give up.

Ed in SD 4 Thanksgiving!!!
WHAT'S WRONG W/ U PEOPLE...no one's posted since March!!!! SAD!!! Don't look @ me...I'm busy...and I'm (ahem) exempt. *cough cough*

Plus it was a bonus for me & Gigi...we got to go for a shopping marathon part of Friday and part of Saturday!!!! And don't even ask if I got up early to go to them door busters... U all know mornings & I don't get along!!! I did get up by 8am though...yay 4 me!!

DC TRIP TOMORROW!!!!!!!
well i dont know if anyone still goes on here butttttttt
MY WASHINGTON DC / NY TRIP IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im superr excited.
Please pray for me and my 8th grade classss
And pray that hopefully the weather won't be toooo cold in NY because I really want to go to Statue of Liberty but mostly Ellis Island x]
So yesss.
just pray for a safe trip and everything.

Highschool. *prayerss.
Hey
so i've been doing alotttt of work lately and theres alot of stress over highschool acceptances.
I just need prayer that I can (and all my friends) can hopefully get into the highshcools that we want.
or whatever God wills for us.
Yeah i've been kinda worried. SO SUSPENSEFULLLLLLLLLL x]
ALSOOOOOOO! WASHINGTON DC TRIP IS COMING UP!
We will be going to
-DC
-New York
-Some other states?
-the white house
-A tonnn of memorials
-Holocaust Museum (IM SCARED!!! im probably gonna cry my eyes out)
-Ground Zero
-Ellis Island museum?
-Statue of libertyyy
-TOMB OF THE UNKNOWNNN! (i wanted to do the wreath laying but i had no time to write my essay :'[
-BROADWAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! (except its only Phantom of the opera x[ )
-Chicago! HAHAA yeee! =]
and we are like..walking 3/4 of the time.
We are staying at HECKAAAA good hotels like the ....hilton? idk all these fancy hotel names HAHA but they are NICE.
So just a prayer for safety and everything in between!
We will be leaving either March 2nd or March 3rd. I cant remember, but i'm pretty sure the thiiird. (one whole week)

hey gi...here are pics of the house that needs TLC in west covina. looks like they started the remodeling and ran out of money. sign says the house is in foreclosure. neighborhood seem quite although directly behinf the backyard is an elementary school...traffic possibility...it's cute though...
